Can I export my data out of Backpack?

Of course. Your data is your data—we’re just helping you organize it. You can export anything you’ve typed into Backpack at any time into a clean XML-formatted text file (note: the export file will only contain text—images and files are not exported).

You’ll want to go to your Settings page, and then click the Export link.

Then, click ‘Export your data to XML format’. Right-clicking (or Control + click on a Mac) will give you the option to save the exported file directly to your computer.

This export page will only be available to the Backpack account owner.
